HOW AFFILIATEBEST PUBLISHES

Editorial Policy

AffiliateBest is built to help readers make better website, affiliate and monetization decisions. This policy defines the standards for evidence, reviews, comparisons, commercial relationships, corrections, AI assistance and time-sensitive claims.

Reviewed Evidence before recommendationCommercial relationships disclosed

MISSION

Useful decision support is the editorial product.

AffiliateBest should answer practical questions: what a tool or strategy does, who it fits, what trade-offs matter, how to implement it, what can fail and how to verify the result. Content should remain useful even when the commercial recommendation is removed.

SOURCE HIERARCHY

Primary and authoritative sources come first for changing facts.

For product terms, platform behavior, technical standards, legal guidance and program rules, AffiliateBest prioritizes the relevant official documentation, agreement, standards body or regulator. Secondary commentary can add context but should not override a current primary source.

Time-sensitive claims such as price, commission rate, cookie/attribution window, supported software version and platform policy should include a review date or be written so the reader is explicitly told to verify the live source.

REVIEWS & COMPARISONS

A review needs criteria and evidence, not just a conclusion.

Where AffiliateBest publishes reviews or comparisons, the intended structure includes use case, evaluation criteria, price/terms, limitations, alternatives, evidence and who should not choose the product. A label such as best should only be used when the comparison criteria and target use case make the meaning clear.

If a product has not been personally tested, the page should not imply hands-on testing. Documentation research, account-level use, benchmark data and direct testing are different evidence types and should be described accurately.

COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIPS

Compensation must not be hidden inside the editorial layer.

AffiliateBest may earn affiliate commissions or other commercial compensation. A material relationship should be disclosed near the relevant recommendation. Affiliate commission size is not an editorial quality metric and should not be presented as one.

Sponsored placements must be identifiable as sponsored or advertising. A merchant may pay for defined inventory, but it should not buy an undisclosed editorial verdict or suppress material limitations.

CORRECTIONS & UPDATES

Material errors should be corrected, not silently defended.

When a factual error is identified, AffiliateBest should correct the affected content and re-check dependent claims. When the meaning of a recommendation changes because a product, price, policy or program changes, the page should be updated or its old recommendation removed.

Not every wording edit requires a public correction note. Material changes to a commercial conclusion, factual error or comparison basis are more important than cosmetic edits.

AI & AUTOMATION

AI can assist production, but it does not own the evidence.

AI tools may assist research organization, outlining, drafting, coding or quality checks. Time-sensitive facts should still be verified against authoritative sources, and automated output should pass deterministic and editorial checks before publication. Large-scale generation without useful original value is not the intended AffiliateBest publishing model.

MEASUREMENT & TESTING

Performance tests should not quietly rewrite truth.

AffiliateBest may test CTA copy, placement, page structure or other presentation variables. Conversion improvement does not justify a misleading claim, hidden disclosure, false urgency or removal of information that materially changes a reader's decision.

LIMITS

Educational guidance is not a guarantee of outcome.

Website traffic, search visibility, affiliate approval, conversion and revenue depend on variables outside AffiliateBest's control. Examples and models are teaching tools, not promises of income or ranking. Readers should verify provider terms and obtain qualified professional advice when legal, tax, financial or regulated decisions require it.
